In 'Levitan' schreibt Zupan ber die Jahre in Haft nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, als er wegen Unmoral, Dekadenz und politischer Unberechenbarkeit aus dem Verkehr gezogen wurde. Der brisante, 1970 fertiggestellte Text konnte erst 1982 erscheinen.
