Vor allem die Neuauflage von 1975 bis 1982 wurde hufig als Devisenbringer ins Ausland verkauft. Ein Tscherwonez entspricht zehn russische Rubel. Erste Prgungen fanden von 1923 nach der Oktoberrevolution und 1925 statt.
