The illustrations are bright and friendly and the board book format is sturdy, so it holds up well with little hands flipping pages a bit aggressively. The rhyming flows okay, not perfect poetry but not awkward either. That said, the concept might be a little abstract for very young kids depending on their age. It feels like a good conversation starter book rather than a quick bedtime read you can breeze through half asleep. Still cute, just something to be aware of depending on your kid.
