A Tissue Box That Finally Understands the Assignment
Color: Retro
I tested this vintage-style tissue box cover with the same scrutiny I give freeze dryer liners and financial models—and it passed with charm and function.
Material & Build: The PU leather has a raised floral relief that mimics carved wood surprisingly well. It’s backed by MDF and lined with non-woven fabric, which makes it both sturdy and easy to wipe clean. I spilled coffee on it (not intentionally), and it didn’t flinch.
Functionality: It fits a standard rectangular tissue box and—bless it—completely hides the garish branding and neon graphics that manufacturers seem to think belong in a living room. This cover restores dignity to the humble tissue.
Design: It’s waterproof, durable, and doesn’t collapse when tugging out a tissue. The vintage look is intentional, not kitschy. Think “grandmillennial chic” rather than “forgotten attic find.”
Accessibility Note: The texture and structure make it easy to locate and use for seniors or anyone with low vision. No sliding around or crushed corners.
If you’ve ever looked at your tissue box and thought, “Why must you be like this?”—this cover is your redemption arc. It’s a small upgrade that quietly improves the space and makes you feel like your home is curated, not cluttered.
