A traditional sleeve enables you to ride with the buckle near the stirrup iron. Due to the more relaxed riding position of a stock saddle, with the rider's lower leg in a more forward position, it is usually more comfortable to utilise traditionally designed stirrup leathers.

The large clip that has the feet that point out in second position(ballet term, google it so you see what the orientation looks like) fits with much more ease than you’ll think. It won’t hook into its oem place but the top flat squared off part will hook to the interior roof of the that general area snuggly. Spent 1.5 hours trying to bend the smaller ones into a similar shape to oem and then it hit me. The bigger one would probably be large enough to catch the top of the bulb housing. Learn from me. Try the big one.
