The picture above is of two different brand engine air filters. One is a Fram Extra Guard and the other is the KAX filter, which costs half as much. Can you tell which one is the cheaper KAX filter? Fits just right. The paper filter material seems to be the same quality as the brand name filter I took out with the only percievable difference is price and packaging. One nice thing here is that once taken out of the box, the filter is wrapped in light weight plastic so you don't get the new filter dirty when taking out the old one. Just unwrap it prior to installation for a clean install. Hope this helps.
