My dog likes to chew on her toys and play tug, so I knew I needed something that could handle both. After buying this, I noticed that the orange rubber would break off and the rope would come undone when she picked at it. After a few months the rubber near the rope stated tearing and the rope popped out. It's not a bad toy for dogs, but it's not very well made either. I'll opt for something sturdier next time
