I read the reviews and a few mentioned they were not fond of the scent. I decided to give it a try since I liked the ingredients and it seemed like it would compliment my skin type. Yes, unfortunately the scent is just way too much for me. I did not open the item or use it. Upon opening the Amazon shipping bag, I could smell it. I decided to return it. Since it is a product made with traditional herbs & wild flowers, it has a strong herbal scent, but I personally liked the scent that reminded me of taking a herbal bath or herbal steam sauna. The foam was silky & sticky and after washing my face, it calmed down the redness and had a great soothing effect. If you want a medicinal soap made with traditional herbs & wild flowers that are not artificial, I highly recommend it. Although it wasn't very large size however it seemed to be made with such luxurious medicinal herbs & wild flowers. I love this product!
