As with all stuffed toys, supervision is needed.
I have a 6 month old standard size Golden Doodle who has gone through several raccoon toys. He loves their tails and to make them squeak. He knows the word raccoon, so when the last one โdiedโ, I had to get another. This one is well made and has a magnificent tail. It did not take long, however, for Marvin to amputate two of the raccoonโs feet and pull the stuffing out. Luckily, I was able to get it from him before he swallowed any, and was able to sew up the injuries and return it to him for another round of play. I do not expect more from a stuffed toy, but I do not leave my dog alone with one and accept that supervision is always necessary. This raccoon is charming and when it โdiesโ I will probably buy it again. Five stars!
