Nitrile rubber can tolerate short term dry running of the sealing lip. The operating temperature range without failure of nitrile rubber is 40 to +100 C. Very nice size I spray painted to get the color I wanted came out beautiful. It’s a light weight. It dropped and cracked open but I will use super glue to hold it together. Still looks nice just weathered. It could’ve cost less.
