I didn’t research if these needles were the right size for perfectly distributed coffee, but it breaks up my clumps very easily and efficiently. I made a lot of changes for my new espresso machine that have improved my coffee, and I would guess this would definitely be one of them. If you buy a WDT tool, I did my research and I can’t complain about this one that I bought. It even came with replacement needles. Would buy again. It feels nice, and I even wipe the needles after each use with a wet and then dry towel, and they still stay in place. You can bend them if you want them angled or straight.
