With that said, these shoes are perfect for my role as a professor AND a person who walks half a mile from the train station to class and back 5x a week. Comfortable. Nice cushion on the heel. And they look really amazing - classy but not pretentious. I bought a second pair a week after the first just so I could have different colors, and it is likely I will get a third pair. For $40-ish dollars, they do the job they're meant to and they do it well. This picture shown are the originals I bought, but I also got the black pair, too.
