For the price, this thing is amazing! Let me cite pros and cons: Con - On battery, the bass is not very good and overall volume is not very loud. However, if you have to run on battery for a small group, it is definitely "loud enough" for a group. Such as background music for an outdoor dinner party, or cocktail party. Pro- Plugged in, the power and bass is impressive! MUCH Better than I expected. Connected it to my laptop for karaoke and it is definitely plenty loud for any house party, or plugged in, loud enough for any backyard party! ALSO - the lights that are included are pretty cool.
