Antique Turquoise Domed RingA beautiful Victorian Dome which was converted from a brooch into a ring at some point in its life. The dome has lovely gold rope work around it. UK size P US size 7 1 2 This is a substantial ring and the front spans just over an inch in diameter. Gold tested as at least 9ct gold. Nice clean condition. All stones are secure and were recently checked over by a jeweller. The ring was also polished. Some stones have changed colour over time. Free

Well build. Very solid for the price. I used #1 AWG cable. I don't like the pinch bolt connection. It tries to drill through the cable, and spreads the strands. Only about 2/3rds are pinched under the knurled bolt tip. I'll keep an eye on it, and if the connection heats up, I'll pull apart, straighten the strands, and tin the ends with solder so they don't crush much. See how that works. A concave, half circle piece under the pinch bolt would be better IMO. That would keep strands together as they crushed down.
