Very cozy, warm, waist is very small although they fit everywhere else. I have an average waistline, not thick through the middle. I had to make a slit in the waistband and cut the elastic. Otherwise they would have been too tight to be comfortable. I have washed them several times and the slit I made in the fabric hasn't raveled or gotten any bigger.
