Wallace Hut, VIC IISituated on the Bogong High Plains a short distance from the popular ski resort of Falls Creek, Wallaces Hut is the oldest cattlemans hut standing in Australia. Surrounded by twisted and time worn snow gums its easy to imagine the sound of the crack of a stock whip and the hooves of hardy mountain cattle and hardier mountain men. Its a remarkable place, that Im sure could tell a story or two over the years.
