This cape was tan on one side for the sand and white on the other for snow. It is dated March of 44. The markings are a bit interesting as this is without a doubt the tropical arctic cape, but the markings omit the tropic bit. Perhaps by this point, it was only important to indicate arctic because of the white side as most equipment by then was tan

I've really appreciated reading from The First Nations Version over the last couple of years, and I'm excited for this book to make it easier to share with a younger audience! One of the things I appreciate about the FNV is how well it flows as a story, and this picture book is no different. It transitions smoothly from the Luke portion to Matthew. The illustrations are lovely watercolors and give me new imagination for Jesus coming for all people. I already bought copies for my nephews, and I'm looking forward to giving them to them for the Christmas season.
