The back side shows some dirt and wear, but generally this is a very good looking canteen. There are also a few small holes in the backside of the cover, which appear to be from wood worm beetles. As parents you want your babies to have the best of books and of Everything. Polite Elephant came recommended by Mayim Bialik's vlog on YouTube. I am not for one to buy everything that is mentioned by celebrities in their videos, but this one was really special as it inculcates good practice and habits.
