"Nuts to You" Leather Squirrel Pin Battle of the BulgeVintage 1940s fun novelty leather pin. Interesting tribute to the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium in December 1944. The Germans calls for the Americans to surrender, and General McAuliffe's reply was, "NUTS. " The top portion says "Nuts to You" with a dangling piece of a squirrel. There is some wear on the leather and it seems a bit fragile to wear. The pin on the back is a bit rusty. The pin is marked "Pat. Pend".
