Dabu Check RedDabu is a technique of resist dye. The pattern is printed in a resist substance before the fabric is dyed. We love the soft hand loomed cotton and the imperfections that come from hand printing. This is a lovely mid weight cotton. *We recommend that you wash these block printed fabrics in a delicate wash with mild detergent, as they are dyed with natural dyes. Legs seem decently thick. They could be a little sturdier. The paint has stayed with no chips or flakes. Color has not faded. It sits at the perfect height for a desk. Screws and hardware do the job. No welds to speak of, everything screws together. I’ve used these for a year and a half as a school desk and has held up well. I took a sheet of project board with stain and polyurethane as my top. Works excellent
