Each flag represents a letter and these types of bracelets with "hidden" messages were popular. It is in good condition and is unmarked. Built in 1924, Der Deustche was originally called Sierra Morena and was owned by Norddeutscher Lloyd. In July 1934, it was charted to the DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront) for KdF (Kraft durch Freude) cruises and renamed Der Deutsche. It was

It's super cute and goes well with the decor in my room. Comes with a leather bottom and easy to put together. Only problem is that's is a easy to fall apart as well. If one side is heavier then the other it will be lopsided. Holds necklaces okay... if you have heavy charms on them they will fall off.
