Heart free wood avoids the center of the tree where most deeper cracking tends to start. Ponderosa Pine carves clean and does well indoors or in covered outdoor areas. This is the second wallet I've bought. Same type. First one was for a durability test. Pull, stretch, bend, twist at the seam, and it held up much better than similar wallets in the same price range. Highly recommend this wallet if you are hard on them like I am. Plenty of space for cards, cash, receipts, random papers and other items that seem to find their way into it throughout the year. And still doesn't feel big and bulky to sit on. I was a die hard trifold guy for many years because I couldn't find a bifold that could hold all my stuff in it. But this bifold holds everything and still has plenty of room for more. If you want a good quality wallet for a decent price the mossy oak Carhartt bifold is definitely the way to go, you won't be disappointed.
