It is in working order and did keep time reasonably well when I tested it. The company was founded in 1919, bombed out in 1945 and reregistered in 1965. I am not exactly a watch expert, but the style of the watch is very appropriate for the 1930's 50's the face style and font choice for the numbers is more typical of older watches.
