We love this self-warming and cooling cat bed because it's super soft, and the cooling side really works well! I can feel with my hand how cool it is by just touching it. I plan to put this outside in my cat's outdoor house; it will really help keep him warm in the winter and cooler in the summertime. Spot cleaning is recommended as the preferred way to clean but the listing says that it can be washed using the gentle cycle. It needs to be air dried however. My cat wasn’t impressed to begin with, but once she got a little playtime with her favorite toy and some catnip, she settled right in. This is a good mat to fit right into her crate for traveling.
