Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Arrived well packaged, does what it’s intended to do. Not overly sticky but sticky enough to adhere to surfaces and hold things in place. Doesn’t burn or melt and doesn’t affect the pieces of sublimation it covers. I like the thickness over the thin tape as it’s easier for me to manage, and my dispenser holds the thicker tape. Has saved me when I’ve ran out of tape for projects and needed and immediate replacement overnight. I work 12 hours overnight and most places aren’t open when I get off work, and I don’t have time before work to run out to the store. Most craft stores close early on my days off if they are open at all so this is an absolute game changer for me as far as convenience and price. Can order it when I realize I’m running out and it arrives before or shortly after I get off work. Extremely convenient and worth every penny.
