Crown Lynn McAlpine Hotel JugWater jugs of this style were made by Crown Lynn one of New Zealand's most beloved manufacturers during the 1950s and 60s, purpose built to sit inside domestic refrigerators. This particular example features a ribbed body and cream glaze, with "McAlpine" lettered on both sides in pale blue. McAlpine gifted these refrigerator jugs to customers as a promotional bonus throughout the 1950s, originally offered in white, yellow, blue, green and turquoise.

I’m honestly baffled. My dog Simba — a boxer, black lab, pittie mix with plenty of energy but not exactly a super‑chewer — received this Yeti doll on February 15th.
