Taylor" (1942)Description This original WWII USMC sun helmet was manufactured on October 16, 1942, by International Hat Co. of St. Louis, Missouri. Affixed to its front is its original "Eagle, Globe & Anchor" insignia device. Its interior is named several times to its original owner, "R. C. TAYLOR". A search of the National Archives unfortunately reveals too many results to be conclusive. Provenance Private Collection, Lima, New York Condition Report Fair Good
