Necessity

Fits great.
Multiple iterations of this dock have wires coming out both the front and back, making it ugly on the desk and no way to hide wires well. Mounting under the desk with this helped a ton, looks way better. Perfect fit.

Smooth surfaces with no metallic buts whatsoever. Easy to install with even just a screwdriver and some old fashioned manual work. I skipped the drill. The supplied screws are self tapping.
