If I had to guess I would say this was WWI, and based on what little information I can find, that seems to be accurate. One source dated the tin to 1914 somehow and others range from 1900 1930. The general style of it is very fitting for WWI graphics.

I bought this on sale for $69. I find this watch attractive. However In 2 months it lost 3 minutes, not a killer but in 2023 there is no need. My last watch cost $39 and had near perfect time over a year. Then died lol. The band is heavy and impressive but. It was larger than my wrist and needed a jeweler to remove a link. That can be typical for a metal band, I’m hairy and the hair gets caught and pinches. I’m thinking of a leather band. Ok all and all, looks like a more expensive watch. I’m not happy but I’ll keep it.
