The base is heavy enough that it stays put when you tear off a sheet, so you can actually use it one-handed without it tipping or sliding around. It feels solid and well made, not flimsy at all. Size-wise, it fits a standard roll easily and still has room for larger rolls, so you’re not fighting to get a new one on. Overall, it’s sturdy, looks good, and is genuinely easy to use day to day. It’s one of those upgrades that seems small but makes your kitchen feel a little more put together.
