Arctic Bird by Alec AppaqaqInuit art: Loon Size: 7 long, 3. 5" tall, 2" wide Community: Sanikiluaq, NU Stone: Argillite Inuit Artist: Alec Appaqaq This is a wonderfully carved dark green Loon made from Sanikiluaq. What attracted me to this piece is the fact that is sends a positive vibe to its surroundings. It is a happy loon as is shown with the eyes. It gives me a happy feeling when I look at this loon, which in my opinion is a wonderful feature for a piece of art to have. I

If you are buying this for the feature of holding the paper towels in place so you can just rip one, I think you will be disappointed. Once the roll becomes smaller (and I tried changing the arm) the arm does not touch the towels. I do like the firm grip on the counter. My other dissatisfaction is the base gets water spots. Being near the sink this happens frequently. It does its job and is attractive.

Stylish

Color: 01-silver

Good sturdy stand for paper towels. Has small suction cups on bottom for stability. Good finish and good fit under the counter. Heavy base and not flimsy feeling. Brushed aluminum matched other appliances well.

Good quality, if you keep them oiled last a long time

If you keep these oiled and do not soak them, these boards last a long time. Good variety of sizes, durable (I use the larger 2 daily), and again, if you keep them oiled, easy to wipe down and haven't shown a sign of splitting. Durable as well. Would buy again.
