Totally worth buying! The assembly is tinkertoy easy and they look nice! I bought four of the six tiers for my small home art studio.. one for books and three for all else. I put them with a couple other storage pieces I already had, painted a piece of 1x12 lumber white, to put across the top of them to make one long shelf and installed a couple of battery operated puck lights in them, and voila; a large, stable unit without the intimidating weight or price.
