The leather has damage and a lot of the stitching has failed. It could be useable again, but you would need to restitch it. Practically all of the stitching has come undone, which is bad, but in terms of putting it back together it might make the process a little easier. Still a rather nice occupied Paris item.

This was a purchase for my one year-old grandson. He became very engaged once we started using the book. He loves the sounds and looking at the pictures. The pictures are paper, so be careful sometimes they will rip easily if they turn the page . Also, until he gets a little older, I need to press the buttons for him as some of them are a little harder than others to push. Great way to start teaching words and having fun while doing it.
