Buckskins can be found in numerous horse breeds and may vary from yellow to dark gold. Founded in 1971, the International Buckskin Horse Association is the worlds largest registry for horses of this color. "The Buckskin" by Orren Mixer was commissioned in 1996 and unveiled at the 1998 IBHA World Championship
