The chasen does seem to be on the more fragile side though so I'd just be careful and properly take care of it such as blooming it in hot water before any usage and whisk with a very lighthand.

I will say the only complaint I have is that the spout design could use some work; the end of it doesn't come out far enough so it dribbles a bit when you try to pour. Also, and maybe this is to be expected due to the use of natural materials, but there are a couple of small split pieces/splinters on the chasen (whisk) I had to trim. Otherwise perfect!
