Some Ponies | Lydia NicholsAn ode to the frisky, playful, and unique characteristics of ponies, this colorful, chunky board book is a work of art meant to be displayed face out on nursery bookshelves. The ponies in this bright, engaging board book come in many colors, enjoy playing in various ways, and even eat different foods. But for the many things that set them apart, what makes ponies all the same in the end is how happy they are to be your best friend. Every page turn

Marketed to kids 4-12, this content is quite simply odd. Squirrel girl taking her (female) squirrel to a school dance dressed up in a trenchcoat? Black Panther recalling a library fight over…censored books and xenophobia? Wiccan baking his gay superhero lover a cake? Ms. Marvel having an anxiety attack and obsessing over ‘not being enough’ over a social media post calling her a b-list superhero? Gwen Stacy haunted by an intergalactic stalker/creep that keeps her from band practice? This one is high on progressive storylines and low on decent storytelling…

Adorable book!

Format: Hardcover

Purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my husband’s little cousin, who is two years old. He adores Mickey and Minnie Mouse and his mother was the one who suggested it. I would recommend this book for all little readers.
