Broadway Limited HO GP30 Diesel PRR #2211/grn w/Red Keystone/DCC ReadyThe EMD GP30 is a 4 axle diesel electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro Motive Division between July 1961 and November 1963. A total of 948 units were built for railroads in the United States and Canada. The GP30's were designed to compete with GE's U25B. The U25B offered 2500 horsepower, while the existing EMD GP20 was only rated at 2,000 hp. The EMD's engineering department ended up using a 16 cylinder 567D3 engine that produced 2250 hp

Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.
