The dome is relief moulded with an all over bamboo trellis pattern interspersed with flowering vines and foliage, a motif that became synonymous with the Aesthetic Movement and its enthusiasm for Japanese inspired design. The matching stand features an embossed basketweave border with a central raised diamond motif. The piece carries a British Registry Diamond mark (Class IV
