The WAC changed from the walking eagle to the standard eagle that was used on men's hats in late summer of 1943. Decent condition. Overall light discoloration. There is a moth hole under the band on the front (hidden when worn). There is a small hole on one side above the button. Small holes on the underside of the brim. Marked Knox New York Koblentz

Initially when I filed the claim online, I was erroneously informed to contact the manufacturer because I was still under their warranty. I learned that I was not.
