Each band gives you 15dB of boost or cut, has bell or peak curves and offers a wide overlap of frequencies between bands. Both the high and low bands have a shelf button too. The DBX 530 is an extremely versatile fully parametric EQ for the 500 series format, at an extremely competitive price.
