The elastic is a bit stiff and I doubt it will do any stretching but you can adjust the strap well enough. One of the little vents in the leather is missing. The lenses are removable and replaceable. I have tried a few other "daily devotional" books, but they were not what I was looking for in being "to the point" along with giving a couple scripture verses to get my day started.
